Thursday
Went to Feeb's house.
It was so fun! (:
Initially we wanted to have lunch at her house, watch a movie and swim.
But it was raining cats and dogs when I got there!
So we went to West Mall's Shop N Save to get chocolates, ice cream (mmm, magnolia gelato is so delectable!) and chips!
All the sinful indulgence.
Yes, I don't feel guilty anymore!
HAHAHAHA!
West Mall is so pathetic and run down.
Anyways, after that, cabbed to Feeb's house.
And it was still drizzling a bit.
Feeb became a klutz and couldn't even manage to open the umbrella.
Her mum makes delicious chinese dumplings!
Even though I don't eat pork, I still dared to eat those dumplings and they were steamed!
I thought there was something wrong with me, but it turned out that the vinegar is indeed bitter cuz it's traditional vinegar from China.
Feeb insisted on giving me a makeover so I let her.
Couldn't take any nice photos so won't be posting any.
Indulging in vanilla and tiramisu ice cream by the pool was seventh heaven!
Even though the chairs and tables were still wet from the storm, but heck.
We were gonna get wet in the pool anyways.
I swore I saw a few windows opening to see the two hot babes suntanning! (I'm juz kidding, I couldn't see all that well since I took off my specs)
Apparently the sun hates us cuz the rain started again.
I was like shivering in the pool when we first jumped in.
Cuz it started raining and it got quite cold.
But after swimming 3 laps, (gr8 suggestion by Feeb), I felt much better.
Then we started chatting in the pool (more than we were swimming).
It was fun!
Before we heard the thunder clap.
We evacuated to the BABY POOL!
Just to soak of course.
It's almost impossible to swim in it.
Feeb is so sweet, she let me have the biggest stall when we went to bathe. :D
Not hearing any footsteps or something, I thought there was only the both of us.
We didn't see anyone else at the pool anyways.
So I just came out in my bra and shorts.
I was wondering why Feeb took so long to bathe, cuz I heard a loud shower.
Then she came out and I realised there was someone else in the toilet.
Whoopsies!
Then went back to her house and her maid made us chicken broth.
How sweet! (:
And being the accident-prone Ashley, how can I go a day without being involved in the tiniest of mischaps?
I spilled chicken broth all over the bed and my feet and thighs and hands.
I'm so sorry for causing so much trouble feebs!!
Then it was time to go home.
I was supposed to take the comfort bus to Bukit Batok MRT station which I'll have to pay $1.30 for with my ezlink card.
Unfortunately, the reader does not allow GIRO top-up cards!
Then it kept rejecting!
And I was like crap, how?!
Is he like gonna ask me to get off the bus??
The worst thing is: he drove off.
And I'm like 'crap. my ezlink card isn't accepted and i have no change. oh no, what if he throws me off the bus mid-journey?'
Then at the traffic light, the bus driver wanted to try tapping my card again.
He's a china mainland person.
He obviously didn't understand what I meant when I said GIRO-linked cards are not accepted cuz he kept attempting to.
And he was actually quite determined too.
So in the end he gave up and asked if I had change.
I'm like 'Sorry uncle I don't have any change...'
And surprisingly~ he didn't throw me off the bus!!
He said I can return him the money the next time I see him.
Thank god!
So let's proceed to Friday.
Friday
The most productive OM session that we ever had.
Even though we started on the wrong note.
Haseena was stuffing herself with prata.
I was attempting to murder my computer.
Clarice and Jia Yi were MIA.
And Fiorina was MIA plus non-contactable.
But we managed to brainstorm quite a bit!
We didn't know where to start off at first.
But it turned out that we already secured all our plans on the FIRST meeting.
How awesome is that!
Saturday
Today was so fun!
I had to start the day with Chinese tuition.
What a bummer!
Then I had to go home to wait for my dad to come over and drop some stuff and perhaps send me to orchard to meet Kajal, Rits and Flo.
But he had a meeting and he forgot entirely about me.
Great!
So after waiting for an hour at home, I gave up and headed for orchard.
Had subway for lunch.
Our usual tradition.
We also took some neoprints which are now my favourite batch of neoprints cuz it looks so pretty. (us included of course)
Our first time taking neoprints, the four of us together.
Then we went up to cathay, hoping 500 days of summer will be still showing.
But it wasn't!
So we were contemplating whether to sneak in to watch Jennifer's body.
But Kajal said the plot was stupid.
In the end we didn't go, and I wasted my time dressing Flo up in my clothes to make her look more 16-ish.
Wi-Fi phones are so handy, cuz Kajal whipped out her phone and manage to find a Cathay Cineleisure connection.
So she connected and surfed for Lido movie listings.
500 days of Summer was showing at 5pm.
Which was just 15 min away.
And a long walk away.
So we did our tradition AGAIN.
That is to either run for buses or movies.
We ran and rushed from one end of Orchard to the other.
And went to the theatres all sweaty and tired.
It wasn't as good a movie I expected it was.
But it was still okay I guess.
The best part is we bonded so much today.
